From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
I realize that certain media oulets have been facing fiscal difficulties now and with the advent of new venues with which to get information from. However, this is a FREE economy with a FREE press and our President's comments regarding information overload and certain trial balloons being floated are seriously an assault on what our nation is about. The market will solve problems IF it is left alone--not being bailed out or regulated into a censorship extermination. We are a nation of adults and we do not need government's nanny state to predigest our information or tell us what we are to think. Parents still have the right and obligation to raise their childer as they see fit.Ane the govt ain't my daddy! Any govt. money being put towards revamping journalism/media is only an assertion of power rather than representing us. And that is toxic to our Republic.
