Dear FTC, This whole "fariness doctrine" is absolute trash. I write oppose any legislation, especially any specifically backed by Mr Obama and his liberal cronies, that intends to silence opposition voices to the main stream media sources for two simple common sense reasons... 1. Main stream news outlets have shown their inability to impartially report news. It is for this simple reason that people are abandoning subscriptions to major newspapers like the LA Times and the New York Times as well as refusing to watch MSNBC and CNN, it is simply because normal people demand to get the news, not some skewed half fictional account cooked up by someone with an agenda. 2. The obvious reason that this kind of legislation is being proposed is because any kind of radical liberal "news" source has never been able to make any money, and therefore fails to keep itself afloat. Why do you think that is??? Because it's not news. No one cares for morons like Chris Matthews or Al Franken on Air America. Those people's rhetoric are why shows like that and broadcasting enterprises like that will always fail. Advertisers will not pay good money to advertise their products and services to an audience devoid of listeners/viewers. Please see reason. This is a front to keep alive politically one sided outlets that are unable to sustain themselves because of the simple fact that what they believe in and the angle they take are always intrinsically false. People just want the news, and just because it's not what a liberal wackjob wants to hear does not mean everyone else has to subsidize a lie. Please squash any attempt to politicize the news any more than it already is. Please just understand the reason people are now seeking news online or from other sources outside of the mainstream media more and more is because those sources have lost the trust of the American People, we have watched them bend and twist truth to the desires of politically charged editors. This is the land of Freedom, not some socialist marxist top down control country of fools. Thank you, Timothy Dean
