From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
If journalists are concerned about their futures, they must adjust to the demands of the public consumer, just as with any other business. The taxpayer cannot bail out everyone who is finding the changes hard to accept. It is not that easy for the individual taxpayer, either. Let the market decide where journalism goes, by what route. Don't try to tax us to prop them up.
