From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
To whom it may concern: As dedicated hard-working citizens, we (me and my family) would kindly protest ANY government assistance to the media. As media markets have changed over time, the survivors have adapted to the change. Those who have not and are "struggling with large debts they took on during better times" should be allowed to determine their own future survival by themselves, or to simply go by the wayside. Propping up a failing enterprise of any type was not contemplated in the Constitution by our founders, as far as we know. Thank you very much for allowing us an opportunity to speak.
