From Town Criers to Bloggers: How Will Journalism Survive the Internet Age?
Please require any media entity taking funds from the government to disclose such. That way we will know to avoid the media entities with federal government influence on their content. Frankly, I find most major news outlets to be producing very poor quality information rushed out with little detail, mistakes in content and/or typos. Much of their information is merely sensationalism. The home-grown local newspapers seem to be somewhat better in providing complete and accurate stories, although still with their share of conflicts and inaccuracies in content. Local news at least presents more of an appearance of journalistic integrity.
