The advertising done by 3rd party markets does need more scrutiny and regulating. Even if a consumer wants to give a product a try, s/he gets trapped into "subscription" type repeat mailings of the product with vague or confusing instructions regarding how to opt out before your charge card has been debited numerous times. This happened to me with a coffee/tea merchant under the name Global Tea Direct. I had to ask my credit company for intervention. Others entice you with free "gift coupons" by filling out surveys which loop around endlessly until again the consumer gets trapped into purchasing something out of confusion or frustration. Even the most savvy consumer can get suckered in. I request confidentiality regarding my comments due to current inquiry by my credit card company regarding my complaint about the named merchant.
