16 CFR Parts 317 and 318: Mortgage Acts and Practices Rulemaking
We are in the process of finalizing our loan modification that was obtained for us by a private loan modification company in CA called Green Credit Solutions. I was upside down in my mortgage by over 300k with an interest only loan of over 1.08 million dollars I was laid off in the mortgage industry and disabled from an accident my payment was unaffordable an over $5400 per month I am now fixed , I got a 100k balance reduction and a lower payment of $3500 pricipal and interest that is almost $2000 per month savings I tried to do it myself and could not This company helped us and saved us. Our credit is very important to us and we were told by the lender we had to default for them to help us. This was unacceptable to us and we were able to get help with this private company representing us without destroying our credit rating. Not all of these companies are bad some are working hard to help people get the help they need as a matter of fact most companies are helping people and certainly more help is coming by way of these companies than by the government programs that no one in CA qualify for. This is my story and I happen to know of dozens of more just like me who have been given successful modifications with their help.
