I find it amazing that our government has the funds and time to make this attack on a small organization that has NO MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS and DOES NOT ENFORCE its Code of Ethics, which is only meant to help inexperienced teachers avoid trashing their local reputations by actively recruiting other teachers' students, as well as help them understand how a professional handles their business. Perhaps the FTC is unaware of the average income of a full-time independent music teacher. If not, I can assure you that the attention the FTC has given it has most likely cost the taxpayers more money than the entire membership makes in a year. Thanks for wasting our tax dollars on this absolutely ridiculous pursuit of an organization that only exists to help teachers help music students. Shame on you.
