FTC, get your nose out of private music teaching. It doesn't belong there and you have no idea what you are talking about. The non-solicitation recommendation (not rule, you idiots) is an ETHICAL recommendation. It has nothing to do with promoting or suffocating healthy competition. In fact, YOU are the ones discriminating against music teachers. Doctors and lawyers have these same ethical guidelines and you aren't going after them. But because you view us as lesser professionals (even though the majority of us started working on our craft by age 6 - show me a doctor or lawyer who has been in their profession that long) you think it is your right to bully us. I have never heard of anything more ridiculous than the action you brought against MTNA. You, FTC, are just another huge waste of money in this wasteful government. You didn't protect or help a SINGLE person in this frivolous suit. You just wasted precious time and money that could have been used pursuing something that was actually wrong.
