Federal Trade Commission Office of the Secretary As a fabricare industry owner I am commenting on the FTC’s proposed amendments to16 CFR Part 423 and how they will affect my ability to operate a business and serve my customers. Please help me avoid damage to my customers clothing from unclear and missing care labels. Only the manufacturer has knowledge of cleanability of all components of a garment. If a care label is not attached to a garment, extra time and worse, possible damage, requiring replacement is a needless headache for me and my customer. Our company sees clothing from around the world. Listing all appropriate methods of care should be a must. In most cases I now accept responsibility and liability for processing a garment in a method not listed on the care label. Please help me help my customers. Thank you for accepting my comments. If you have any questions or would like any additional information please contact me at . Daniel Widmar Performance Cleaners, Inc.
