The FTC investigation of Music Teachers National Association is ridiculous. This is a professional organization--one of the largest in the US for private music teachers--that has always encouraged its members to maintain professional standards of teaching. It is common courtesy, knowledge, and practice among private music teachers to not solicit students from another teacher without that teacher's knowledge. It in no way requires this, only asks members, teachers, students, and parents to act in a professional manner. The investigation of MTNA by the FTC and the FTC's recommendations need to be dropped immediately.
