Please continue and expand the rule to cover other types of retail outlets. Many types of retail stores advertise items they do not have available. Some advertise items they never stock. Some - Target is notorious for this - advertise a product in a size that is not manufacture.Stores use advertising to get people into their stores. They often use "bait and switch" tactics. As it relates to the unavailability rule, the tactic is to advertise an item that is not made in the advertised sale, the store never sells, or the store does not really stock for its dales. Their hope is you will buy an item not on sale in place of the falsely advertised one.Since discount stores, drug stores, department stores and other retail outlets frequently engage in these unethical practices, the rule needs to cover them, not just retail food stores.
