The MTNA code of ethics which prohibits soliciting from fellow teachers' studios is in NO way a violation of monopoly/restarint of trade laws. It only prevents a teacher's unethical poaching, as do similar ethical codes governing medical doctors and lawyers. The client has NO restrictions about leaving one studio and approaching another at any time and for any reason, which makes laughable any claims that this violates either free trade, or artificially keeps up prices. Can your lawyers even read?? This was a nuisance lawsuit, pure and simple, and should never have been honored.
