In January 2011, I found a 3rd party billing on the back of my Century Link telephone bill. I called and asked to have it taken off as I did not request a fax service in or out. I thought it was removed. Two months later I found another 3rd party billing. I called the telephone company and was told they couldn't take it off but I had to call a different number...the number who handled 3rd party billing. I called this number. The woman there was extremely rude. She asked me a question (sorry I can't remember now what it was) but I did try to answer her. She became sassy and asked me something else. I told her I was trying to answer her but she just kept talking over my answer. I became very frustrated and asked to speak to her supervisor...she kept talking and talking and I then yelled at her saying I wanted to speak to her supervisor. She finally said it was Monday and they are very busy on Monday's. I hung up on her and called back to get someone else. This woman was nice and I THINK she got the charges off...she said she did...but it hasn't been reflected on my bill as of yet. Oh yes, Century Link told me that they couldn't take the charges off because the government allows 3rd party billing! What?????? I say "outlaw 3rd party billing and refund the money these companies have stolen from us!"
