I think it is highly dangerous for these sponsored stories to be allowed to blur the line further and further between them and actual news items. All one need to do is look at recent elections in this country to see how much so. Sites such as the revamped Yahoo.com now have begun mixing in their sponsored stories and ads right in with the regular headline news. VERY sneaky, VERY subversive, and VERY scary. There is no one thing more detrimental to our society than the increasing proliferation of advertising and marketing in our lives.
