6:30 PM SUN FOX Seahawks, Broncos to square off in Super Bowl XLVIII After winning their respective conference championship games, the Seahawks and Broncos will meet in a showdown of the greats in Super Bowl XLVIII. (www.nfl.com) If the Broncos are in..."violation(s) of federal law prohibiting unfair or deceptive acts or practices or unfair methods of competition" then why are they allowed to 'compete' in the upcoming Super Bowl? There doesn't appear to be any repercussion for those that don't play fair. I'm sure they would never do it again if they were stripped of the conference title. If there is not a rule (NFL or FTC), then there should be. There are many teams that play fair that deserve a chance when there's a level playing field. This may never happen with the amount of money that is involved in all professional sports. A slap on the wrist and a slap in the face to what is fair. I hope I met the criteria for a formal submission but unfortunately my argument will fall on deaf ears because I don't get to make the rules. Maybe justice can eventually be served though..go Seahawks.
