FTC to Hold Workshop Examining Online Event Ticket Sale - Agency Seeks Input in Advance of March 2019 Workshop; Project No. P18450
Over a year ago I was planning to take my daughter for her birthday to see Chris Stapleton in Concert near Lexington, KY After purchasing the tickets that were thought to be for front row seating, while tickets were being excepted at the gate we was pointed towards the balcony section. I stopped and told the gal that we paid for Front row seating not the balcony section. She quickly said the tickets we purchased was not for front row seating but for balcony only but yet on the online page it clearly described the tickets were for front row seating. We was told that if we want front row seating we would have to pay an additional fee as seating was limited. At this I was forced to make up my mind and decided to go ahead and attended the concert but it ruined our daughters 17th birthday and as long as I live I will never buy another ticket from ticket master. They promoted a false advertisement listing front row tickets that turned out to be balcony tickets... What A Joke!!!
