Re: Competition and Consumer Protection in the 21st Century hearings, Project Number P181201 The American Booksellers Association, the not-for-profit trade association of independent booksellers across the country, is pleased to submit these comments in connection with the Commissions first Hearing on Competition and Consumer Protection in the 21st Century. We hereby respectfully submit comments on Topic 3: The identification and measurement of market power and entry barriers, and the evaluation of collusive, exclusionary, or predatory conduct or conduct that violates the consumer protection statutes enforced by the FTC, in markets featuring platform businesses. Our comment on Topic 3 is attached, which we submit as a public comment to the commission.
