I am pleased to see that the FTC has finally taken action against at least one company selling these unproven but potentially risky "remedies" to the public. I hope this portends future actions against the many companies and practitioners selling unproven remedies like "Myers cocktails" and similar IV treatments like IV hydrogen peroxide, curcumin, and vitamin C (advertised for cancer), as well as chelation therapies and stem cell treatments. Quackery is alive and well in the U.S. and the FTC is doing too little to stop it.
