Hearing #2 On Competition and Consumer Protection in the 21st Century
Like many Americans, I'm at the point where I need to find alternatives to cable because it is so expensive, and it terrifies me that internet accessibility may not be far behind. That's why I was thrilled when my California state representatives passed a bill (SB822) to preserve net neutrality in my state. Other states are responding to their own constituents. There are millions of us out here, and it would be nice to have faith that our federal institutions are listening. After all, we are supposed to be protected by the First Amendment. Please take no action that would block the states' rights to manage their own net neutrality.
