I have personally experienced the effects google and youtube censorship. Videos that I enjoyed are removed or blocked because they are deemed to incite hate speech. Its hard to see how political satire of the early 1980 music scene is or was hate speech. Content creators I enjoy and get current events information from are deplatformed because of inconvenient opinions. This to me is an attack on others freedom to speak their opinions. It also an attack on my freedoms. How can I feel safe to speak when it could cost me access to information or to live an enjoyable life because of depersoning or deplatforming? GOOGLE, YOUTUBE AND TWITTER AS WELL AS AMAZON have made it clear that they are against inconvenient speech and political views. Regulation is neccessary to prevent our right to freedom of speech from being extinguished.
