The Open Markets Institute (OMI) welcomes the opportunity to offer its perspective for the FTCs Hearings on Competition and Consumer Protection in the 21st Century (Project Number P181201). OMI submits this comment on developments in antitrust law since the Pitofsky hearings. OMI also attaches two recent law review essays by staff members that explain the defects in the consumer welfare standard.
