I am very concerned over the many acquisitions of appraisal related companies by Corelogic. Many federal and state commissions have been set up to prevent monopolies as a monopoly will negate competition and the end users of the services or products of a monopoly will be at the mercy of the cost of the service(s) provided by the monopoly. Corelogic is fast acquiring major appraisal related companies. At the current time, no appraiser can prepare an appraisal without using a Corelogic product. That is of great concern. I ask the FTC to take a comprehensive look at the business practices and acquisitions of Corelogic.
