FTC 16 CFR Part 315 Public Workshop Examining Contact Lens Marketplace And Analyzing Proposed Changes To The Contact Lens Rule
I am an optometrist who practices in Hollister, CA, and am opposed to the new paperwork and document storage requirements in the proposed Contact Lens Rule. This new rule would place a significant burden on my small business. All the optometry practices I know already release their contact lens prescriptions without the patient asking for them, so this rule is not needed. California law already requires I have a sign in my office that notifies patients their rights under the law. Please reconsider this unnecessary burdensome rule.
