Understanding Competition in U.S. Prescription Drug Markets: Entry and Supply Chain Dynamics
Where can I begin: Patient's First There is no transpetancy when you allow large monopolies to form. As a patient or consumer we will Lois's transparency. We will be told where to fill our prescriptions , what is on formulary or not. How much day supply patient will get. Forcing consumer to fill for 90 day supply or use mail order or one chain pharmacy only. Increase waste of unused drugs creating unnecessary waste. Patients will not have a choice. And insurance lie that their prescription cost this much meanwhile it would be cheaper if the filled the prescription for cash. So who is benefiting not the consumer , not the patient , not the small pharmacies. Bottom line is that you are allowing these large drug companies and PBM & their lobbies to take over and destroy the true Pharmacy profession. A profession that educated the patients cares about them not just the $. By allowing this all little private pharmacies will be forced to shut down. People will have no choices
