I say such labeling is redundant anyhow. Hocus pocus would be a less informative label, however consumers only need to understand appliance watt if appliance watts exceed the max amp of the socket, as 120 volts x amps = watts. My house breaker is 200 amp max so that is a 24,000 watts maximum.
