In the Matter of iSpring Water Systems, LLC, File No. 1723033
I am a consumer that makes buying decisions based on representations that a product was made in the U.S.A. If the Commission is going to continue to allow, by virtue of the consent agreement, such a claim to be made about this water filter as long as there is a disclaimer to the claim, that seems to undermine the action altogether. I am in support of an agreement that forbids the company to make such a claim unless it is true. Here in Alaska, we rely on Amazon a lot, because they are one of the only companies that realizes Alaska is one of the United Stated for shipping purposes. The consent agreement should include a requirement that the company disclose in any description of its product at an online purchase portal that it is not made in the USA. Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
