FTC Workshop Will Examine Competition and Consumer Protection Issues in the Rooftop Solar Business
Until now, solar is a costly afterthoght. Instead of traditional roofing a LEED rated composite is permanently and seamlessly applied to the substrate. The composite has thermal properties that echo the NASA Space Shuttle. The "Eternal" roof never ends in a lanfill. It is several times stronger than concrete but 80% less in weight. It can be colored and textured to resemble traditional products. While "setting" building integrated photovoltaic properties are embedded. One such product has an efficiency rating of 35.5%, a record. "Solaring the World on the Cheap" is achieved. America's toughest building code body sees this breakthrough as "Revolutionizing construction". The Hurricane Testing Laboratory found no criteria for testing! The composite has ballistic properties. The composite had its roots in ancient Roman Concrete which was LEED rated 2000 years ago! The initial market will be in Europe which is well ahead of the USA in the sustainability issue.
