FTC Requests Public Comment on ProMedica Health System's Application to Approve Divestiture of former Rival St. Luke's Hospital
I have practiced Family Practice in NW Ohio for 20 years. St. Lukes is my local hospital. Fifteen years ago, the best of the best surgeons and physicians were in St. Lukes. The service was top notch, even as the economic decline began. Since the Promedica takeover. The quality of care has declined quickly. I just had major cancer surgery in February and had two near fatal nursing errors. It's sad to see the decline. I am the last Private Practice Physician in Wood and Erie County. Every other doctor is hospital affiliated to my knowledge, I cannot compete. Promedica has driven out the cheapest best ultrasound system, Sylvania Ultraound. they are killing Pathlabs, the best lab, etc etc. Don't just get St. Lukes out of Promedica, pull the teeth on this evil dog. They are killing Mercy health partners as well. No one can compete with that much money. Thanks for saving the hospital.
