Please consider changing the term "lead glass filled ruby" to a description which makes it clear to the public that this type of gemstone can be up to 90% glass and only 10% low-grade corundum/ruby pieces which are fused together. It should be quite clear that this is not a treatment to a gemstone but a manufactured product using only small pieces of natural material. Calling it ruby in any form is actually confusing at best and quite misleading at worst. Respectfully, Van E McMinn, GG (GIA)
