I arrived at a local Used Auto Sales on the morning of Thursday, February 18, 2016 to honor the request of the owner, who had stopped me several weeks earlier, to solicit my interest in selling my 1978 Chevy Truck. As I had stated no interest in selling the Chevy, I had instead loaded my 2007 Honda 750 Shadow that I did have for sale. Upon entering the Sales lot, I approached the office and noticed a red Chevy Suburban and upon entering the office, I gave the Office Manager my name and reason to speak with the owner. I then inquired about the Red Chevy Suburban, and was told it was not yet on inventory and I would need to speak with Owner. I was given directions to locate the owner in the "shop" and as I left the Office, I walked over to the Red Chevy Suburban to find a "NOT FOR SALE" notice instead of a Buyers Guide. I proceeded to the "shop" door which was marked "Do Not Enter, Authorized Personnel Only" and was able to convey my request to speak to the owner from the outside, to an employee who was standing just inside the 'shop' door. I found this FTC request only a few hours ago, and to make sure I submit on time, I will end here with this comment...This trade and owner financing was so filled with errors, that I am now sending a complaint to the NC Attorney General. I will provide that information if requested, and appreciate this opportunity to participate. James R. Wilson.
