Ancient automobile dealership laws must not be allowed to restrain competition and limit American choice. Direct sales of automobiles must be allowed as it reflects a modern world of the Internet, direct-order manufacture. Where automotive dealerships benefit from service and part sales, electric vehicles are contrary to this business model and are best served by direct sales. The only reason existing automobile dealerships are opposing direct sales is to limit competition.
