In 35 years of car ownership in the southern California area I have never had a pleasant experience buying or maintaining a car at a traditional dealership. That goes double if you include 20 years I have been part of my wife's auto purchases and repairs at other dealerships. That all changed when we bought a Tesla. We painlessly brought it online at a fixed price after seeing it at a Tesla showroom and post purchase Tesla service is 1000 times better than any dealership I have ever experienced. The outdated dealership model lets each point fingers. The manufacturer says "It's not our sales team." and the dealerships say " We did not design this car." Classic "Not my problem." We all have been putting up with this for a century. Time to move all purchases into the new millennium. Please let us by cars like we do other high tech items like phones and computers.
