Honorable Commissioners, As a Tesla owner, I have experienced Tesla's sales model first hand. Having bought other vehicles in my life, I also have experience with the dealership model. I appreciate Tesla's no haggle pricing and customer care but have found a few franchise dealerships with similar offerings. What Tesla exclusively provides to its customers is accountability. If there is a problem, question, etc. it is not "someone else's problem" it is squarely the responsibility of Tesla. The Tesla team works to provide not only a superior product but excellent customer service. I believe that is due to its business model. I hope the Commission will embrace Tesla's business model and encourage other businesses to explore other distribution models that will benefit innovation, safety, and customers.
