I want to encourage you to permit Tesla Motors to sell its cars directly to the public. The argument from the auto dealers is that the business model for maintaining their monopoly is to foster competition. In reality, the opposite is true. In the 21st century, we are entering a new paradigm shift with American ingenuity and innovative engineering at its best. We should not suppress this technology by having antiquated laws to benefit only the elite. Let the consumer decide how and when they want to buy a vehicle. As a Tesla owner, I have experienced the best customer service far superior to any dealer that I have encountered. Please let us base this decision on giving the customer a choice and letting Americans experience what a free market and competition should be and not let the lobbyists and the people with their self interest determine what the American public will have. Let the people have a voice and not the plutocrats.
