There is no reason in this day and age of electronic communications and internet sales to continue to support dealer only sales of new automobiles. The law has done nothing than mandate an increase of the purchase price of automobiles to the general consumer to support dealers, which today are no longer necessary. Consumers now have much more research available to them today and are more knowledgeable when selecting their purchase today than 30 - 40 years ago.
