Hello, I recently chose to purchase a new vehicle and I speak for most people I know to say that it is quite a dreadful process. I believe car buyers should have the right to purchase directly from the manufacturer. This way, pricing would be more standardized. It is very stressful and causes a lot of anxiety to go to different dealers looking at the same car model and getting vastly different prices. It is further muddled by the different warranties and service plans the different dealers all offer. I feel it would be much quicker, much more fair for both buyers and sellers, and most importantly less stressful if buyers could purchase directly from the manufacturer. Or at least have the option to do so. We live in the United States, a country that is supposed to be a free market. Why not allow both methods and allow competition to settle it. That would be the American way.
