Dear FTC Commissioners, As a member of the car-buying public, I have a keen interest in this matter, and I fully support direct manufacturer-to-consumer car sales. My experience with buying alternative fuel vehicles has shown that the vast majority of dealers do not have an interest in selling you a vehicle that is low-margin and low-maintenance. When buying my last vehicle, it took two months and over a dozen dealers for me to find one that was willing to sell me what I was looking for. I think that car dealerships are generally a hinderance to electric and hybrid vehicles' success. In the next few months, I will be in the market for a new vehicle, and I am dreading having to work with dealers on my next car purchase. Thank you for your consideration in this matter. Regards, Mr. Wright
