FTC to Host September Workshop in Washington, DC, to Examine Advertising for Over-the-Counter Homeopathic Products
Homeopathy came into our lives via our pediatrician (an MD), when our daughter was diagnosed with Immune Deficiency Syndrome at 18 months. We consulted with homeopathic practitioners, followed their recommendations as we continued working with her MD, and she gradually became healthier. I started studying more, and purchasing OTC remedies from a homeopathic pharmacy in Santa Monica CA. As time went on, homeopathy became our first line of response to illness, and the adjunct to allopathic medicine when it was needed. Eventually I studied more in depth through a 3-year credentialed program in San Francisco. Now I continue to learn through seminars, webinars and research. The best source of information I have found is the National Center for Homeopathy. Excellent research also is being done in Europe and Latin America. I am positive that homeopathy has helped our whole family to be healthy. (I now am a septuagenerian, and in good health, as is my husband. Our daughter is in excellent health, and recently birthed her first child.)
