FTC to Host September Workshop in Washington, DC, to Examine Advertising for Over-the-Counter Homeopathic Products
I was first introduced to homeopathy through advertising for a combination homeopathic formulation. I chose to try the product and found it to be very effective. It improved my health which increased my productivity due to having more energy and feeling better. This led me to study homeopathy and learn to use individual remedies to improve my own health and that of clients in my practice for many years. Combination remedies can be very helpful for those who do not have knowledge of individual remedies. Homeopathy can improve the health and quality of life for those who chose to use it. Most people learn about homeopathy through advertising, so advertising is very important to the health and quality of life of many Americans. There are many resources available to learn about homeopathy. The National Center for Homeopathy at http://www.nationalcenterforhomeopathy.org is probably the best source as they provide many educational opportunities including classes, books, articles, and conferences. Basic articles about homeopathy are on their website that can help with a basic understanding of homeopathy and how wonderfully effective it is. How homeopathy works is being explained increasingly by Quantum Physics. Based on my knowledge of homeopathy, I believe that restricting advertising for homeopathic products would be a huge disservice to the American people.
