FTC to Host September Workshop in Washington, DC, to Examine Advertising for Over-the-Counter Homeopathic Products
My family uses homeopathic OTC products on a regular basis with wonderful results. We are able to get well from acute sicknesses and aggravations much quicker than we do with other products. We typically use the internet to do personal research before going to the store to purchase products, but we also find it useful when homeopathic products have "common use" suggestions on them. We appreciate when homeopathic products are put in the "health" part of the store separate from other medicines. It makes it easier since we are looking for the "homeopathic" label. We strongly encourage you to keep homeopathic products readily accessible for consumer's use and to enable the manufacturer's to clearly show the types of ailments for which it has been successful for many people. Based on personal experience, I would assume that homeopathic product sales have increased so much in the past decades because many people are getting relief by using them. I know that our family would not continue to buy them if we were not getting relief with them. It is important to us that they stay readily available as an option for people who desire a more natural, gentle healing option. Thank you, Sally Weatherly
