FTC to Host September Workshop in Washington, DC, to Examine Advertising for Over-the-Counter Homeopathic Products
There is a large problem with at least one homeopathic pharmaceutical manufacturing plant that I know of in NC that is using silver as a preservative and not putting this on the label. Also, the primary is putting anything he wants into these formulas and NOT putting onto the labels the 27 + ingredients he is putting into his formulas. It is not just disingenuous and not just against the cGMP and FDA rules, it is a black mark on the homeopathic manufacturers that do follow the rules and perform their work according to code. This same practice has used old moldy tinctures and just filtered the visible mold colonies out. The whole atmosphere of cheating in the manufacturing process is endangering the public. Certainly the public's trust has been violated.
