FTC to Host September Workshop in Washington, DC, to Examine Advertising for Over-the-Counter Homeopathic Products
I am 68 y.o. and have always been in relatively good health and seek out natural methods for maintaining my good health, sometimes referred to as alternative. I have found homeopathy to be a simple and inexpensive way for me to remedy issues that need attention. These remedies allow me to avoid use of pain relievers because they actually reach the root cause of the discomfort. I have read about and learned the usefulness of many remedies which are conveniently available and inexpensive. Homeopathy has the ability to get to the root cause of serious issues and a person well versed in the practice can assist with this. However, it is also useful for lay people like myself. If I bruise myself, have a sty on my eye, muscle cramp, stub my toe, tooth pain, mouth sore........ on and on. I can access a list of remedies for such and give them a try. If my symptom subsides, I have found the correct one. The remedy works with my body to remedy the problem or temporary imbalance. Once corrected, it is no longer needed. It helps and does not harm. I believe we should be able take advantage of ALL healing modalities. Just like the saying "NO one size fits all" we can say that NO ONE method of healing has all the answers. It is important to be open-minded to the value of each one, because each one has a place in good health. I am sure you would be flooded with testimonies if you asked for them from people who have found homeopathy helpful and supportive in daily life. Respectively submitted.
