Comment for Eyeglass Rule, 16 CFR Part 456, Project No. R511996 As an employee at Warby Parker and a former Customer Experience team member, I can attest to the frustration felt by customers when it takes an extended period of time to obtain a prescription from their doctor. When this happens, the production of their glasses is delayed as we do not have the necessary information to fill their prescription. We work very hard to uphold our promise to our customers of delivering their glasses in a reasonable time, and that is only possible when doctors offices respond to our requests for a prescription in a timely manner. It seems to me as though any patient should be able to access their own medical information within 48 hours, especially when they are in need of a medical product such as glasses. Thank you for your attention.
