1. Should the definition of ''prescription'' be modified to include pupillary distance? Why or why not? This should be the responsibility of the entity that is filling / providing the glasses at the time of the sale. If the consumer is buying online, there are numerous online tools that will do this measurement. If Optometrists and Opthalmologists are required to include the PD on the prescription they should have the ability to charge a fee for the measurement. This measurement does take time to do and there should be a value assigned to that.
