As a health care professional I agree for the need for this regulation. All prescriptions should be in written form. The pd, pupil are distance measurement should be performed by the company/health care professional that sales the eyewear, so the consumer has consistentcy when troubleshooting issues arise & the consumer doesn't have to be inconvenienced with several providers. The seller of the product should be accountable and able to fix the potential problem. Instead of making money with no ability for accountability to the consumer after the sale has been made. Too much time involved for the customer if they have to travel to several places to have one item serviced.
