I'd like to comment on Eyeglass Rule, 16 CFR Part 456, Project No. R511996. I've worked at Warby Parker as the head of the Customer Experience for 5+ years now. My main responsibility is to ensure we deliver a great shopping experience to our customers. One of the services we offer is to call customers' doctors in order to obtain their prescription for them. In the 5+ years I've worked here, it's been a frustrating process to obtain those prescriptions in a timely manner. Some doctors offices are very responsive, but most of the time we have to call doctor offices 2 or 3 times to then have to get the customer involved in obtaining the prescription themselves. This tends to be very frustrating for the customer since their order is then delayed and frustrating for us since we did our best but weren't able to facilitate the shopping experience. It should simply not be this hard to help a customer obtain a prescription that is rightfully theirs. Please require that doctors verify prescriptions in a timely manner.
