I have worked at Warby Parker for several years now, and I can't tell you how many times I have had an escalated situation with a customer due to the fact their dr will not send a Rx to us. Often they are working with fax machines, rather than email, and refuse to give the Rx verbally. This puts us in a really tough place and results in us losing a sale, or a customer calling their doctor and getting very angry. If verification via phone with a fax follow up was mandatory that would be so helpful! It would keep the doctor in the customers good graces, and allow us to sell glasses in a timely manner.
