I have seen countless violations from online companies (1-800-contacts for example) where we never receive a verification request and the prescription is filled regardless. Also, phone requests need to be faster than the 5 minute message that is currently used in the middle of office rush hour where no one is available to sit on hold for something that has probably already been filled. Brands should be enforced and not switched by a company that has never seen the patients eyes. Curvature, diameter, and material are chosen based on the anatomy of the eye, work and hobbies, maturity and compliance of patient, as well as a multitude of other reasons. Don't switch it to something just because it's on "sale".
