I would like to urge FTC to reconsider their decision in this matter. Professor Seitz is one of the leading scientists in Vision Science, and he specializes in perceptual learning. His research is highly respected by the scientific community. This is evident by the number and quality of his publications. He and his collaborators have published studies related to UltimEyes app in top scientific journals with stringent peer review process. In other words, other scientists have scrutinized and endorsed these studies to be published. Professor Seitz also has funding from National Institute of Health on this topic, which means that NIH has also endorsed the research approach. It is very surprising to find that FTC does not consider these stringent systems of scientific oversight sufficient as evidence for the validity of their findings. The methods used in Professor Seitz's study are well-established methods in the field and have resulted in many publications in our field, and are the basis for much of the well-established knowledge in Perception science. Respectfully, Ladan Shams
